Step 1: Initial Consultation/Intake
This consultation better helps us understand what the care needs, budget and preferences are so we can focus on the settings that best meet those requisites. Fill out our form to Request a Consultation.
Step 2: Understanding Care Options
There are many types of care settings and they vary from size of the community to the level of care provided. With information from your Intake we will help you understand what options would meet your specific needs. For more information on the different care options click the What Are My Options link.
Step 3: Touring
Typically we will line up three places to tour. Our preference is to accompany you on the tours. If after the initial set of tours non of them feel like the right one we are always willing to schedule visits at additional homes/communities.
COVID-19 Update: Due to COVID all Washington Long Term Care Facilities are currently restricted from having any “non essential” visitors. This includes tours, in the meantime we can arrange virtual tours, pictures via email or text and phone interviews. Residents are still able to move in during the COVID pandemic but each community/home has its own restrictions and protocols to help protect residents and staff.
Step 4: Making a Decision & Moving
Once you’ve made a decision it’s time to move. You will work directly with the community/home you choose to schedule your moving day and time, from this point forward they are your care partner and will help guide you as to the best way to help you or your loved adjust to their new setting. We will always be here for questions even during the moving process.
